Session 6
Reading ecosystem topology at scale.
This session matters because ecosystem-level decisions require understanding the structure of the whole network. Building on meso clusters, students compute macro metrics such as density, modularity, and core-periphery structure. The session connects network analysis to strategic implications by interpreting resilience and vulnerability. Students produce an ecosystem topology brief that summarizes macro patterns and their meaning. Skills developed include macro metric computation, resilience reasoning, and topology visualization. These ecosystem insights inform later emergence detection and strategic assessment.
